The online course that you have purchased is set out in three sections: Test Information, Tests, and Resources.
Test Information
This menu contains welcome information and answers to frequently asked questions.
Testing
In this area, you will find two types of tests: Practice and Final Tests as well as Reports on previous scores.
Tests
There are three sets of post-tests available to you. This will offer you three opportunities to successfully pass the test with a grade of at least 70%.
Practice Tests are available at any time, and provide students with the review and practice needed to track comprehension of the material throughout the course and to help prepare for the final tests. These tests can be taken as many times as you wish but the scores/grades will not be captured under the Reports section pf the course.
Final Tests offer three separate question banks, allowing for three attempts to successfully pass the test with a grade of 70%. Results are immediate, and answers, book page references, as well as specific Skill Standard references for each question are presented at the completion of the test.
- Flexible Testing Options allows instructors to tailor tests to cover only the chapters that were covered in the course.
- Self-Grading results are immediate upon completion of the test. Correct answers, page references to accompanying book, and references to specific Skill Standard provide the necessary information for review and self-study.
- Student Certificate of Completion is available upon successful completion of the test, allowing students the opportunity to provide copies of certificates to prospective employers to prove their skill level.
Reports
In order to view reports, select the Reports link in the Course Tools menu. Select the report type that you wish to generate and report out data for.
Resources
This menu contains information on helpful tips on studying effectively, related links and product as well as support and contact information.
- Study Tips provide valuable information for studying and preparing to take the test the day that it is administered.
- Related Links provide additional information on topics within each craft-area. Find out more information on a particular topic to further knowledge of the content.
- Help
Help provides you with context sensitive help for the screen you are currently in.
